Craft Show Booth Prep: Part 2

To create my table banner I got an immediate flash of orange stenciled letters on grey corduroy.

Letting the cat sit on wet paint...always a smart idea.

Giving my entire booth set-up a test drive at home before the big show seemed like a good plan, since this was going to be my first show.

The whole set-up seemed to work pretty well.

IN THE END

All in all, the show went well.  I was pretty happy with how the booth turned out.  The event itself was a success; lots of good art, some interesting entertainment & practically non-stop traffic to my booth for 4 hours were all good things.  A few more sales would have made the show really great but maybe next time.

WHAT I'D DO DIFFERENTLY

Next time I'd put up signs and make it more obvious that the business cards, candy and other freebies were there for the taking.

I'd definately spurge for a good fabric table cloth & table clips. (Trying to arrange unsightly, ill-fitting plastic table cloths with masking tape rings are a headache that one can defintaly do without while doing last minute booth set up before a show).
